Our Leicestershire farm is the largest farm we operate. It is an AHDB strategic farm and is a farm business tenancy that started in 2016.
It is a Spring calving herd with approximately 850 milking cows. All replacements are reared in-hand.
There are two 24:48 waikato swing over parlours which are simple to operate and make light work of the milking.
Vacancies
Calf Rearer – Looking to recruit a full time calf rearer over the busy Spring period, to work alongside two other calf rearers. We are expecting to calve down 1,100 cows over a 12 week period. Experience is beneficial but can also provide training for the right person. Potential to carry on as a full time member of the team after calving. Accommodation can be provided.
Herd person – Looking for a full time motivated, conscientious individual to join our team. Main responsibilities will include milking, scraping and general farm work. Experience is beneficial but training can be provided to the right person. Accommodation can be provided.
